09 A Church for the End of the World...Expects God

What is it that makes Jesus sick to his stomach? It is the pride of self-sufficiency. This is precisely what the church at Laodicea was plagued by. When we seek to depend upon our own strength, wisdom, and accomplishments we not only find ourselves building a life upon a shaky foundation, but we also find ourselves living contrary to how we were designed. Through Jesus, we have, can, and will conquer if we turn from our self-sufficiency and depend on him alone. He is knocking at our door to come in and fellowship with us today. Will we respond? Join us as we go to an ancient source, the book of Revelation, 7 letters written by Jesus to the church of the 1st century that provide the way forward for the church of today.
