This has been a year filled with uncertainty about employment, school access, business survival and profitability. Uncertainty has surrounded our city. However, what is certain is that The Hope Center continues to help the hopeless become hopeful and the hopeful to become healthy, so that those who are healthy can now be helpful.
On Friday, March 5, 2021 the annual Heart 4 Hope: Kansas City Difference Makers benefit will be a virtual event to showcase “Stories of Hope”.
The Hope Center’s mission is to provide asset-based programs and opportunities for sustainable growth and development where children, youth and families can flourish on Kansas City’s east side.
This virtual event will offer a fundraising auction, entertainment, special guests, and an awards celebration for the Mike Darby Servant Leadership Award.
This year's focus is the youth and leadership development programs, parent training events, and summer camp which supports over 200 students and families in our community.
