Outdoor Worship Service
Oct 18, 2020 at 10:45 AM
Organizer: Reid Kapple

Come for the OUTDOOR worship service on October 18 at the Olathe campus!

Please REGISTER for planning purposes.

Time and Location
The service will begin at 10:45am in the east parking lot. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early to park and prepare for worship and gathering together.

Social Distancing and Masks
We are asking everyone to practice social distancing for this outdoor service. We want to err on the side of caution and care for the most vulnerable, but also want to make sure people attending alone do not feel isolated. We encourage you to welcome others with a wave, a smile, or an "air hug" while maintaining a social distance of 6 ft. The Kansas Executive Order does not require masks outdoors where social distancing can be maintained, but we encourage everyone to bring a mask and use it if you are not able to maintain 6' of separation.

Service Details
Our service will be under an hour and we plan to sing, have communion, a children’s ministries moment, and a sermon. Prepackaged elements will be available for anyone who plans to partake in communion, and there will be gluten free options available.

Park in any lot on the property with the exception of the east lot. Handicapped parking will be available in the south lot. Parking is also available on the east side of Iowa Street. If you live close enough to walk and are able, we encourage you to do so.

What to Bring
Bring folding chairs or blankets for seating during the service. The majority of the space available for the congregation will be the parking lot, so chairs are recommended. Please bring your own water, coffee, etc.

Other Details
The building will be open for bathroom use only unless it is a medical emergency. Masks are required for entry into the building. The playground will be available for children to play on before or after the service but not during the service.

Rain Plan
In the case of rain or severe weather, this service will be moved indoors.
