More Than A Snack- Communion Class
Every week on Tuesday until Jun 18, 2019 from 6:00p to 8:00p
Organizer: Anna Lynn Rolf

As a parent have you found yourself asking if your child’s ready to take communion?  Do you have questions on how to best to prepare them for this sacrament?  Have they been taking communion but you haven’t had a conversation with them to truly explain what it means? Then this is the class for you and your child!

At Christ Community Church, we believe communion is one of two “ordinances” of the church. Baptism is the other. An ordinance is basically a directive (something you do because someone told you to do it) or command. Communion is an ordinance because it is something Jesus commanded -ordained- that the church should practice. Communion is a ceremony that the church observes and practices as a sign of the grace God has shown to us. Communion is a way for those of us who have experienced the saving grace of Jesus to remember and celebrate what Jesus did for us when he died on the cross and God raised him from the dead.

Come join us for a three week course, June 4, 11 and 18 where we’ll dive into what communion is and explain why it is MORE THAN A SNACK. We will gather together each evening from 6:30-8:00pm.  The last evening, June 18, we’ll share a meal together and will start at 6pm. This class is intended for 5 year olds through 5th graders.

Register HERE.  Childcare is available.
