“The Christian home is the place where we bring the church to the people as we seek to lock arms together.” -Rosaria Butterfield
We as a church desire to be a caring family. Not just on Sunday, but on Monday as well. This means that we need to reorient the way we think about our school, workplace, neighborhood, and dinner table. These are not just places we inhabit. They are potential conduits of grace and transformation.
Whether you have been employing practices of intentionally knowing and loving your neighbors for years or if you have no idea how to do this in the first place, we want to invite you to our Practicing Hospitality night. We will learn more about the lost practice of hospitality among followers of Jesus, hear from others about how they practice hospitality, collaborate together on how we can be better together in this practice in all of the places and with all of the people God sends us.
- Sunday, March 24 from 5:15-7:00
- Olathe Campus Student Center
- Limited childcare available for 0yrs - Elementary aged children
- The Main Dish will be provided, bring a side or dessert to share
- Please register online
What would our church, home, school, workplace, neighborhood, and city look like if we sought to practice “radical ordinary hospitality” in an intentional way to turn strangers into neighbors, and neighbors into family?
We hope you will join us as we seek to be a hospitable people for the good of our neighbors and the glory of Christ.
Please register HERE by Thursday, March 21 to ensure we have enough of the main dish that will be provided as well as childcare workers.
