Phase Night - 2's/3's Sensory Night
Mar 1, 2019 at 6:00 PM
Organizer: Gretchen Barlows

Sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell are a major part of the learning experience for 2-3-year-olds. As parents, it is easy to forget how much you were learning while exploring with your senses. Sensory learning can be extremely messy, involving shaving cream, rice buckets, and soapy water. But every kid needs fun over time, to build connections. So we have created a sensory explosion night for kids and parents to play in and explore.

Technology is beginning to replace hands on exploration in many of our young kids. This depletes their vocabulary of words that define what they are experiencing. Technology also limits their tactile learning to swiping up, down, left, and right. We have purposely created sensory stations which will allow kids to work with their parents to define play through their senses. We will be experiencing: loud, soft, fast, slow, stinky, delicious, sticky, messy, yucky, and wet fun together. Register now to be part of this evening and discover ways you can continue to explore all God has created with your child through sensory learning.

Pizza dinner will be served at 6:00 pm for the whole family in the cafe. Childcare will be provided for siblings from 6:30-7:30 pm while parents and their 2-3 year-olds have fun.
