Coming HOME
The holidays are a time when we think about home. For some, home is a place of warm memories. For others, home was a place you couldn’t wait to escape. But all of us have some sense that we aren’t quite at home in the world. One of the many ways the Bible talks about the human experience is the feeling of being away from our true home. The Bible calls this exile. We are all—to use Steinbeck’s turn of phrase—living East of Eden. This Advent we are going to explore our longing for home and look at the hope that the Old Testament book of Isaiah offers that one day we will be able to come home at last.

Join us this Advent season. Our doors are open. Coffee is ready. There’s a seat for you. Welcome home.

No Other - Leawood Campus

Galatians 5:26-6:18

From Series: "No Other - Leawood Campus"

The gospel message is central to the Christian faith. But what is the gospel and who is it for? Is it a religious doctrine, a book of the Bible, or a spiritual fairy tale? And what do we do with it after we hear it? While the gospel message is timeless, the way every generation understands it is subject to change. For this reason it is so crucial that the church in every generation should seek to thoughtfully and lovingly teach the central truth of the good news of Jesus Christ that rescues the lost and rejuvenates the church. For this gospel is our only hope in life and death. There is no other.
