Church for Monday
Everyone has a Monday. It’s the home where you live, and the people you love. It’s your neighbors and hobbies, where you work or go to school. It’s the causes that capture your heart. Those things—both ordinary and extraordinary—that make up all of life.

But too often, churches have merely focused on Sunday, even though following Jesus has always been about all of life. We know that our greatest influence as a church comes on Monday, as we spread out into the various roles and responsibilities where God has placed us.

Come explore this whole-life discipleship, highlighting seven marks of a growing disciple of Jesus.

The Beauty of Weakness - Leawood Campus

Acts 9:1-31

From Series: "The Beauty of Weakness - Leawood Campus"

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But what if beauty lies elsewhere? What if beauty isn’t simply found in strength or youth or passion or style? What if beauty could surprise us where we least expect it? Perhaps that kind of beauty - an unexpected beauty - could inspire us in ways we never thought possible. This Lenten season, we’re looking for beauty in the small things, in the the humble things, and in the difficult things. As we explore the story of Jesus’ first followers, we hope to learn how incomparable beauty can spring from unimaginable challenge. We want to see the beauty of suffering, the beauty of faith, and the beauty of weakness.

Conversation Starters

Conversation Starters are one way we at Christ Community seek to dig deeper into the current sermon and biblical text.

There are two easy ways to locate
Conversation Starters:

1)Weekly Update emails, delivered to your personal email every Saturday morning, will always contain a link to Sermon Notes, and Conversation Starters;

or

2) Use the Sermon Locator to select your sermon by campus, speaker and date. Below the title graphic select the link for EXTRAS. Sermon Notes, and Conversation Starters are located under EXTRAS.

NOTE: If EXTRAS does not exist, there are no Sermon Notes or Conversation Starters for that sermon.
